She's gonna kick your ass!! Lol
Looks great!

This rifle belonged to my father whom I lost this year right before my 30th birthday. He was a very frugal man. Aside from heirlooms the only guns he ever owned was an 1100 20ga wing master and this old Savage he bought the year I was born. I’ve decided to send her to Beanland Rifles and have him build me a 6.5x47L using all the original parts minus the factory barrel. I’ve built a lot of guns. Nice guns. But this one is by far going to be my biggest pride and joy.

Barrel shown is just for mock-up to ensure the stock will accommodate a #5 and help visualize the build. Please no Jackass remarks about it

Well, I thought I had the right stick and then this one popped up. I bought it right away and Doan now has it. As Tom Petty sang, “The waiting is the hardest part”.

6.5 Creedmoor - I swapped out the NF 5-25x56 ATACR (pictured) for a 7-35x56. Kelbly Atlas Tactical, Bartlien 26" HV barrel installed on an MPA Comp. chassis.

This is the LR-BR 300WSM I was fortunate enough to get from my good friend Dragman. It is built on an older 2 port Lawton, the stock is a custom painted & airbrushed McMillan with a removable leveling piece in the rear. This gun just flat out hammers and handles extremely well for a 17lb magnum. Hope to make it to Williamsport this year if the stars line up in my favor.......

Regards
Rick

Some like synthetic some like wood, I have both. I will try this.
The wife’s quilted Maple 96 Mauser 6.5x55. I was working in the shop, wife walked through, you are building that for me aren’t you. Yes dear….Lost my rifle.

I just made a deal for this; a 1955 Winchester Model 70 in .243. It will be my 74 year old Mom’s hunting rifle. Her custom Mauser is not finished after 2 1/2 years and she wants to get a rifle sighted in and go hunting. She’s 4’11”, so the LOP will be shortened. I’m tempted to find some aftermarket bottom metal, but a pre-64 is a classic as is. The jury is out on that. I have a Swarovski 8x56 that I think would be great on it.

Just was not content with the factory stock on my Rem Model 7. Simply too flimsy and just did not do justice for the custom build. So, I sent it back to Zack for a new Mcmillan stock swap and his bedding job. Now, I feel much better about the new build. Can't wait to get it back on the bench with this new stock and the new EGW Mistic Precision F-class bi-pod.
