I've spoken the same words on another site, a hunting site, and I've been labeled a law breaker.Whatever you do, DO NOT take the bait and "register for free"

Aint that the truth.I'll tell you what is explosive. When a flame throwing tank sets your church on fire with everyone inside.
To each their own. That pistol is most likely someones "go to" weapon in a travel scenario. Easily kept in a vehicle and since it's a pistol, it can be kept loaded and is covered under a concealed pistol permit. Remember, not everyone thinks the same. Some of us do realize there is true evil in this world and try as hard as possible to prepare for that to protect ourselves and others. There are literally thousands and thousands of ex-military and law enforcement personal who have a similar setup as that.See that type of shit, pushing the rules, is what gets us to where we are now. Please keep an open mind when it comes to this "brace" matter. The ATF stated multiple times, on their own legal letter head, that brace equipped weapons were pistols and could be used as such. It's been the rule for years, so many and by many I mean tens of millions of people took their word and ran! Now, they decided to change their minds. That's not sitting well for everyone effected!Seems like it used to be that anything with a barrel below ~16" was considered and registered as a pistol.
If true, then why are they doing all this SBR/brace stuff?
Exactly!! And then on to handguns since that’s the number one weapon used in crime and then what’s after that?!I am guessing the shockwaves and binary triggers are next
It's just a Big Word Game for them to justify their Fat Paychecks and Existence.Seems like it used to be that anything with a barrel below ~16" was considered and registered as a pistol.

I get the setup and the advantages. To each their own. That pistol is most likely someones "go to" weapon in a travel scenario. Actually, it takes a constitutional expert to correctly interpret the 2A today. The second amendment is so simple, clear, uncomplicated, and unambiguous,,
Its all because every LARPer out there is posting facebook pics of a SBR upper with a brace on the back as they ran thru the local woods with every accessory that fits a rail. They were taunted and responded. An 11 or 13” barrel with a pistol brace on the back is stupid because it got us to this point.I get the setup and the advantages.
I do find it a bit surprising that people are outraged when ATF looks at that and says "Hey, that's not what we had in mind when we said braced pistols could possibly be not counted as SBRs."
^^^ This- 100%^^^ They just had to get those facebook thumbs up..Its all because every LARPer out there is posting facebook pics of a SBR upper with a brace on the back
