Along those lines, how about a duplex reticule?Back in the day, I hung out with a fellow car guy that couldn’t say “quarter panel” without it coming out quarter pounder. I have a shooting buddy now that calls rifle lands the lathes. You can say, did you mean lands, and he will answer, yea lathes….lol. Both guys were fairly intelligent otherwise.
Q.E.D. You could have stopped right there.I dont under stand this post

I’d like to see someone throw a horse over a fence. Even a small pony thrown over a really low fence would be something to see. Although, I don’t believe the horse or the pony would like that.Syntax matters too.. Throw the horse over the fence, some hay.
I'll bet you received a lump of COAL in your stocking at Christmas...or was it a lump of COL?On another firearms related forum the subject of the abbreviation of Cartridge Overall Length, aka COL. Some were insisting on the abbreviation Cartridge Over All Length, aka, COAL, which to me is a bag of Kingsford.
Overall is used to describe from one end of something too its other end. A description of measurement. In this context.
Over All is used to describe a person’s character, to qualify something.
The use of COL is pretty much universal here in the U.S., but COAL mite be a European term as the load data book I have that uses COAL is from Vhitavuori.
So the correct term is Cartridge Overall Length. What gets me is how some people want to argue COL vs COAL until well past when the cows came home.
That's a duplex small handbag.Along those lines, how about a duplex reticule?

and, while i am here, it is "for sale" not "for sell", is it not?
i do.I met some guys from Wisconsin at a run down motel in South Dakota on a prairie dog hunt. I thought they talked a little funny, but they were a hoot! @rayporter do you remember the guy with the cheese curds? He walked around with that bag all night and every time I turned around he was holding it out trying to get someone to eat more. I don’t think I pooped for week. The other guy has a bunch of pretty cool prairie dog shooting videos on YouTube.
It's winter time - song to the tunes of 'V A C A T I O N'Ain't y'all got nuthin bedder to talk about?
I hate it when someone tells me they're shooting a 6.5. 6.5 WHAT?????
When they tell me a 6.5 Creedmoor I really want to scream.
Or, a video of yourself. The worst for me is a video of me with the camera in my lap. Really weird. When I hear a recording of my own voice, -- well I sound so stupid that it pisses me off that my friends and family didn't set me straight, or tell me to shut up more often. My wife must live in a constant state of embarrassment.jd
