NEW Bat action coming out today

If we are talking about harmonics, doesn’t the bedding material and also the stock infill play into the equation.
Mayne unless your talking heavy gun glued in a block. That pretty much takes alot of the action out of the picture. Matt

Ultimately the vibrations are transferred to many different materials. I believe that load development, quality gunsmiths, exceptional buttets and the grace of Mother Nature are far more revenant.
What are buttets, is that what holds your pants up? Matt

How long would you expect the teflon to last?

Can they be ordered with bolt threads? Or are they glue in only?

Everyone shoots for different reasons. Some are just there for fun and are happy to just not come in last. Some are there to win, others are after records, ext. My interest is in building a better rifle. I have worked on every aspect of these things for years trying to get the most out of every component. Actions, triggers, scopes, stocks, barrel specs, my own techniques in the build process, ext. Its been a worth while pursuit. The rifles track records are the proof. This is just one more of those things, I hope it improves the agg records.

A good action is a good action. What makes one good is actually pretty basic stuff. I have built exceptional rifles on a few different manufactures. If they are right they will shoot. I doubt I will ever be 100% satisfied with anything.
Your concluding remark suggests that there is no perfect action, even in the mind.

Well, that further suggests that there are many areas for improvement over current designs. I am intrigued as I’m sure many others are to hear what you would consider to be the areas most needing improvement or those that are likely to result in better performance.

I have two Neuvo’s, and I can say that while they are great actions, I can’t testify tha either shoots sny better than my two vintage Farleys from the mid 1990’s.

I tend to agree with Alex on the aluminum body actions. I tell new shooters that the very best action right out of the box is the Stolle Panda.

You would be hard pressed to find one that doesn’t shoot Well.

Yep, so long as a Panda has enough firing pin fall they seem to shoot. That doent mean they dont have many of the same issues you seen in any action, they just seem to be less sensitive to those issues. Thats why I feel the aluminum is helping.

If I understand you correctly, none. Its just aluminum, which some of us believe to agg better. It will have the same production issues as all actions I have seen. However, all Neuvos you buy from Bullet Central are gone though by them. They clean up the ignition on them. I still do my own when I order them, but if you buy a Neuvo from BC it will have the cleanest ignition you can get without going through one.
