Anschutz 64 action, can it hang?

Haven’t shot 22’s in 20 years, kinda getting back into it for fun ( not serious registered matches). I see new stuff out like vudoo etc, can my old 64 action hang with these guns of today or is this a excuse to get another gun;)

At our club we have about 8 guys that shoot Anschutz RF. Some are competitive, but seldom win. A Stiller 2500x is tops and my Walther KK300 is probably next. All of that said, the Anschutz are factory stock with all kinds of stock variations. And yes, I'm building a 1913 to shoot at our matches.
To start you will need a tuner, Todd Toenges to do your trigger, a BR stock, and good ammo to be in our top 5-10 places. I am really having fun with it.

This is a lower level match than your shooting I think(so far but that always changes ya know). Guys have the newer cz, a couple of the tikka t1x, one vudoo so far and a mix of savage etc. No customs as of yet. My old gun shoots pretty well but not as good as the top tier guns by any means. Maybe time for a custom.......

Send it to Mark Penrod. Have him put on a Shilen Ratchet barrel and a Harrels tuner, and tune it up.
You'll be competetive! Check with him on what kind of stock you'll need.
