Which 4 Jaw D1-5 chuck for chambering?

Just placed an order with Precision Matthews for a lathe and a bunch of accessories.

The only obvious (to me) thing I wasn't able to get was a 4 jaw chuck.

Looking for the advice of the experienced what I should be looking to procure.

I am thinking of getting that same lathe and I noticed that missing 4 jaw.

I'm using this 4-jaw with a copper ring in it.

I've used Bamban's 6 jaw set tru and its pretty darn slick, but at 1/2-2/3 the price of my used lathe I don't think I can justify the cost. If you were doing a barrel a day, having it get you "close" in 2 second would be worth it, but I'll never do enough to make it worth the extra few minutes of setup. Maybe when I'm rich =p

I guess im a tad more specialized and didnt think of that. Right at 25yrs and ive never had one in my lathe
I worked for a guy 5 years ago that specialized in single shot rifles. Octagonal barrels probably made up 90-95 percent of his barrel work, be it new barrels or installing liners to preserve the patina of age on the exterior. I liked those old rifles way before I worked for him, so it has always been an automatic consideration for me.

I'm positive I'll end up with an inboard spider, but I want to make it.

In the mean time... I'll use a 4 or 6 jaw. :)

I guess I should have stated, if working on a rifle barrel, I'm using inboard/outboard spider. The rest of the time, if it fits in the 5C collets, I'm using it. I've got a full 72 piece set. The OP was saying 4 jaw or 6 jaw. I can see 6 jaw replacing 3 jaw but I'd still want my independent 4 jaw. But I don't use 4 jaw for chambering.

I hate to side-track OP post but let's say you have an Encore or Contender barrel that is 17" long and you need to thread it for a supressor. You going to be able to hold it in a 6 jaw?

I have a 3, 4 ind. and scroll and 6 jaw also 5c and pratt multisize collet chucks as well as inboard and outboard spiders.
If I could only have 1 of them it would be a 4 jaw what it lacks in speed and convenience it more than makes up for in versatility. That being said I hate 4 jaw ind chucks and only use it when I have to. Next in line is the 6 jaw only con for me is the minimum gripping size is larger than a 3jaw of the same size. I luv me some collets especially the pratt collet setup. Keep in mind I got all this stuff over the years and did not have to go out and throw down for it I understand resource allocation for a home/ hobby shop and this stuff can get expensive in a hurry. All that said I do my barrels in a spider cuz my headstock is too long if I use the chuck.

Because of the length of my headstock I use a TBAS/6 jaw for muzzle work 100% of the time, no matter what length the barrel is. I had to get creative to come up with a way of not having to make sleeves for all the different tapers.

The Encore/Contender has a lug hanging off the back and would require a 2-1/2" bore to center it in headstock. I've never used a 6 jaw but don't think you could hold it. You can with a 3 lug and with a set-tru you could get it to run true. I finally had success getting good concentricity copying Mike Belm's method.
Belm precision crowning

You can get a 4 jaw with any of their lathes. All you have to do is select it.
The D1-5 is back-ordered and not available. I didn't realize when I ordered mine but they can get just about any brand of accessory and beat even Ebay prices, I got a Bison from them and Matt said they could get TMX, Gator
