What are you shooting at the Tack Driver?

I’m wondering what ya all are shooting?
6mm ? 30 cal of some kind? Or what?

I have heard from 22 PPC to 300 WSM. The countdown is on to decide and I look forward to seeing everyone there!

I put down I was shooting my 30br but my 6bra has really jumped up on group ....
But then again those "New" 30cal bullets are shooting lights out !
I hate decisions that are 50/50 ....

I haven’t decided yet. I just got the 1.150 J-4 jackets for my new 6mm bullet dies, I will test them next week end.

I would love to shoot my 7mm Geramo, using the Hornady 162 ELD Match. If it gets as nasty at that range as they say, it might be the best choice.

and then there is my 30BR, and my 6 PPC’s.

I’m like JMayo, decisions, decisions.........

I have a good 10 twist 6br that shoots 90gr berger bt's lights out. If I were going, I think that's what I'd be shooting, fwiw.

I don't know..I think of 300 meters as a "tweener" yardage. A lot will come down to conditions on that day(s). I think a std ppc or 30br has its tongue out a bit at that distance but if the conditions are good, one could get it done.

I've shot 200 300 400yrds at st thomas for 15yrs, shot 6dasher 30dasher ppc success with all, but most successful with ppc

I'll know and will be pulling for a bunch of guys to do well. I wish you and them the best of luck. It's gonna take good equipment and good shooting, regardless. IME, at a small match, it can be anybody's day at any time, where they can knock it out of the park....It was their day! But at a big match, ya gotta beat 5-10 shooters who also are hitting it out of the park. It's their day, too! You'll have a few guys who have all the stars aligned, at the same time. That's what makes the big matches so much fun.

Y'all shoot too good up close for me, my guns shoot about the same groups at 200 as they do 1000

That’s the right track I think. I can’t go but I would put on an 8 twist BRA and shoot Barts 103s if I could.
