No, no record. Not here anyway, got one's hide rug mounted that's over 6 and killed one 15yrs ago that was over 7ft. Killed several in the past couple of years bigger than this one. The one Dusty saw that had 3 fangs was longer than my wife and she's about 5'8"....

No.That is not a record down around John's house.Just down the road from John's place is a community called Wetherspoon that is crawling with buzz tails.During the hot summer is the time when they like move.
I have seen a lot of tail shakers over 6' and a few over 7'.
