One Guy and His Chick Gun Safe Move

That’s exactly how I move mine over five years ago good jobAs per the thread that got batted around awhile back, we did our own safe today. It isn't one of the heavier ones, coming in at just north of 600 lbs. Still quite a load for my wife. I went to the bar and told her to call me when she was done.
Actually, I got it home with my truck and piggy-back forklift that I use on the job. Built up the front porch with pallets covered with OSB to put it on the same height as the front door. Cut some two foot lengths of 3/4" PVC pipe to roll it on and did like the Egyptians did. Didn't hav any Hebrews to grease the rollers with, but we got along just fine. Getting over the threshold was kind of sketchy but went pretty good.

We went careful and slow. And success is sweet. jd
I move lathes the same way, 1" or so round stock, 1/2" pipe
