Hmmm. A good gunsmith can tune a factory 700 trigger to be plenty good enough for most hunting, if about 2 lbs is light enough, and you don't want to fiddle with it thereafter, for a lot less $ than a premium aftermarket trigger. For walking-around hunting, a well-tuned 2-lb trigger feels plenty light enough for me.

Yeah, in fact most of mine are closer to 4 than to 2. And the geometries of the trigger and stock have a big effect on perceived pull weight.I actually like about 4lbs for hunting. Still feels light sometimes
