This should help. Check out the buckets of objective test data available. The AU team kind of cleaned house at the recent Palma Worlds in NZ. They practice on HEXTA Targets. Just saying.

A mature complete system with the unique specification of 56 independent coordinates per Point of Impact.
 
My wife got me the Shot marker for Christmas last year! I just got home from shooting a match with 30 other guy's on the Shot Marker. They worked great today!

I do enjoy purchasing items in the Northern Hemisphere that are affordable and work as advertised... Like the Shot marker and Silver mountain target!

We had almost 40 shooters on 12 Shot Marker targets today. They were side by side on a 600 yard pit that could handle 32 targets. Our target did not get any crossfires on it. It also sounded like their was very few. They ran flawless. I like them better than the SMT. My relay times were 18 min, 15 min, 10 min. Even at ten minutes that is over 27 seconds per round. I did not machine gun any of my shooting.

I found Hex Systems, but not the other. These websites are dated and do not return SEO. Many are nearly impossible to find unless you are looking for that exact name/address.

@GeoffR Even after knowing your company name, I still found it difficult to locate your website. I eventually found it, but it should not be so hard. You are in desperate need of a redesign. The site zero or negative SEO and does not work properly on mobile devices.

My observations are strictly from a IT business solutions standpoint. I will reiterate, if we cannot find your product, it doesn't matter how good it is.

Hi Geoff I'm wondering what kind of "grief" you had with your open targets? As you have read PRICE is the deciding factor alone in NA.

Yes, Delfuego, point taken!

For good or bad, or to my detriment or not, I more or less switched off about four years ago for reasons I have explained elsewhere and don't want to repeat. As I have also explained elsewhere, I have never really contemplated addressing any opportunities in the USA or anywhere else outside Australia. The message I am getting from this current forum is that my reasoning was correct: there would be no way for a system like Ozscore to penetrate into the US market, no matter how good or feature rich it may be.

It is not a personal ET system and was never intended to be. It can't be priced accordingly. I think there is a place for ET systems that are affordable to individuals, to take out to a farm somewhere (where there is some space to shoot safely) and let rip. It helps the cause - to introduce this kind of technology into the shooting arena.

So I have never bothered to keep my site up to date, as it were, to take advantage of the web search engines and the like: I saw little point. I have a few systems out there that I enjoy looking after but saw no growth path moving forward. And still don't I'm afraid. Does anyone think I should do otherwise given the descriptions I have posted and the negative blowback that resulted?

I do not mean to dump on competitors. I admit I made a poor choice of words the other day. But it is difficult not to appear to be doing so when they are the only competitors effectively to compare against, and intended to be operating in an entirely different market space - even when attempting to talk ones own product up only.

I can sort my website out and it's search rating easily enough I suppose but will I still be beating my head up against a brick wall? Is anyone interested enough to take notice?

I will address sdean's pricing comment in a separate post.

Yes, I agree with that also - to a point! :-)

I don't have many systems out there but there are enough to determine that system pricing is not all that simple due to each system being different. They all have different sets of requirements, and there are many options with a complex system such as Ozscore that greatly affect overall pricing. It's really something that needs to be addressed on a case by case basis. I don't think - in fact I know - it is possible with any highly variable and complex system to simply state "it will cost $XXX dollars" on a website and have that work.

So even if I were to post my individual component prices on my website - that I could make easier for people to find - they would not accurately reflect what the final system might cost. So I did take the view that it's probably best not to complicate this further. Maybe I made a bum call?

Anyway, I can take another look at it. I'm still not convinced it will do me any good however! :-)
