Here's my custom 6.5 mm SAUM Remington Mountain Rifle:

True and blue printed Remington 700 short action,
Wyatts extended magazine box,
Defensive Edge custom bolt release,
PT&G spiral fluted bolt with M16 type extractor and PT&G aluminium
bolt shroud/lightweight firing pin assembly,
PT&G Oberndorf custom aluminium bottom metal,
Criterion 1:8 twist barrel, No. 4 contour, fluted & 24 inches in length,
Bedded into McMillan McWoody synthetic stock,
Talley lightweight one piece ring & bases and Bushnell Elite 3500 4-12
scope with DOA 600 reticle.

Weighs 6.5 lbs scoped and loaded.

Currently doing ladder testing, but 62grs H1000 is giving 3050 fps and groups hovering around 0.5 MOA.

I'm back out at the range on Sunday. I am continuing my ladder testing, this time with Hodgon Superperformance. I also want to try some of the 62.0gr & 62.5gr loads from my ladder testing to see how they group, 62.5grs gave me 3072 fps.

Here's a 338 Lapua I just received back. It was completed a couple weeks ago.

Defiance Deviant action
Bartlien Barrel
McMillan A5/A3, Gap
Terminator brake
Timney trigger
Seekins CIP bottom metal

The barrel is 28 inches plus the break. This rifle came about after I helped my niece on her elk hunt in Arizona last year. She made a great one shot kill at a little over 700 yards with a trusty 7saum I have, But we were watching a really big bull at a little over 1300 yards and I was imagining myself with the tag. More rifle was needed, so I thought I would get something along those lines built, just in case I get the opportunity.

Just got this rifle back yesterday and couldn't be more happier with the way it turned out and how it's all ready shooting during brake in! Big thanks to Ronnie Long of Long Rifles.

7mm saum built on defiance deviant hunter action, #5 taper 9tw Krieger throated for 168gr Berger vlds, with Ronnies muzzle brake, bedded in a McMillan marksman stock and jewel hvr trigger. The brake makes it feel like shooting a .223!!!
