20 MOA is not a problem
20 MOA is a problem.
The inserts are in thousandths of an inch, not MOA.
With a +10/-10 pair, which is what comes in the package with the 30MM's, you get 0.010" over the length of your ring spacing, usually about 5 inches.
0.010" over 5" = 0.024" per foot = 7.2" at 100 yards or slightly over 7 MOA.
Put the other +10/-10 pair in the other ring and you can get around 14 MOA.
The only way you could possibly get 20 MOA is if the centerline of the rings is only 3" apart.
You can make 20 MOA with the 1" rings because the inserts come in 0.005", 0.010", and 0.020". 30MM only come in zero and 0.010".

The machine work was very poor, even on the ones they sent me as a replacement for some I sent in that were just terrible. I can not recommend spending money on them. Other people have reported better results than I have experienced, but I wonder just how carefully they checked. It is difficult for me to believe that the machine work is so spotty that I am the only one buying bad ones from different sources over a period of years. It is a decent idea, just poorly done in my experience.
Good Luck
