Hi Dan!

YETI recently completed an audit of our retail, corporate and consumer programs, and we have made a number of decisions that support our pricing policies and our dealer agreements. One of those decisions is to end a variety of legacy one-off vendor programs. This decision affected a number of organizations including, but not limited to, the NRA.

Additionally, ?YETI actively supports hunters, anglers and all outdoor enthusiasts. Since our founding, we have always supported hunters and the second amendment, and we continue to do so.

We also continue to have a custom discount program based upon volume that is generally available directly through YETI’s business development group, available at corporatesales@yeti.com.

Yep, but I was curious as to what they would say. I think if I needed another hard sided cooler, Id get the cabela's brand. The hopper is pretty hard to beat when I bring fish on the airplane from key west to mpls.

I would kind of be shocked if they didn't know who butters their bread. I bet this was more of a "holy crap, our margins are getting killed because of RTIC et al. Start cutting expenses!" Not shoveling corporate revenue at the NRA shouldn't be viewed the same way as anti-2A, unless they come out and specifically state as much.

Sounds more like a metric load of Bull Schidtt to me....what exactly is a "one off legacy vendor program"???? Knock off the slick Willie out the side of your mouth double talk and just tell us whether you support the NRA or not!!!!!! I guess "it depends on what the definition of "is" is.........
Honestly, they really don't even have to answer straight up at this point...I've heard all I need to hear.

Well guys...looks like they are in effect thumbing their noses at the most powerfull organization that protects our rights in America as shooting enthusiasts. They care more about being “politicly correct” to the bleeding hearts liberals than they do about their core consumer.
Will the marketing department target PETA as their “one off” perferred cause?

Other companies do the same thing- rather than denounce the nra they just quietly remove logos from their website telling their liberal buddies “look we removed the logo” and if anybody notices from the other side they talk out the other side of their mouth
