crack barrel shotgun pistol caliber liner

recently ran across an insert for a crackbarrel shotguns that allows you to shoot say 357 or the like. they were rather short inserts and were smooth bore. so i started searching for a longer rifled insert and came across one company which now i have lost track of. they were of course out of stock. i have an old h&r crackbarrel 20 gauge that i wouldn't mind cutting down closer to 18" and running a 357 insert in it. would be an ideal beater to keep in the side by side for checking hog traps and snake control. would have the option to shoot fmj's, hunting rounds or rat shot. the plus is i paid a whopping $20 for the shotgun to a friend just out of highschool who needed some gas money and had no need for the shotgun... i've had it for 25 years now and never put a shell in it.

anyone have know of or can reccomend a place to locate said insert?

Never built the inserts but I've built several barrel stub type barrels on single shots. Most straight walled pistol calibers will work in a single shot shotgun without any issues at all.

Apparently there are many mfg’s out there now.
I got a couple, yrs ago.
I believe at the time they were “Runway” brands?
