Winchester 7mm 125 Power Point Bullet

I have a buddy that has a few hundred of the older Winchester 7mm 125 Gr Power Point bullets. #2812P Would anyone know if those are varmint or deer bullets? I know people hunt deer with modern 7mm 120 bullets. Just don't know with these old ones.

Not sure and I could be wrong. Remington has the Core Lokt line of bullet and Winchester had/has the Power Point line for hunting bullets. Should be fine for deer hunting.
