Why so many Magnetospeed Chronograph in the calssifieds ?

Why do I see so many magnetospeed ;s in the classifieds ?
Is it just a case of the newest wearing off ?? Just don't use it that much ?? , OR ???

yeah labradar answers a lot of problems but is no real reflection on the magneto as they are great too, but the magnetos do create the dilemma of load dev with or without it on the barrel.

I think everyone nailed it. I love my Magnetospeed, set up and ease of use. I do all load development with it, while I haven't seen it first hand Reasoning tells me when I shoot a match without the bayo my load may go out of tune.

I've considered a Lab Radar and I wouldn't keep both, but my money is going elsewhere in the meantime.

Mabie because those people bought a Labradar

Bingo.

When I got my LabRadar I sold my Oehler 35 to my buddy that wanted it. Once you get your hands on Labradar the other methods seem too much hassle.

I have to say I agree that the increased classifieds for all chronographs are most likely due to the availability (after an incredibly long wait time for its release to market) of the LabRadar. I still love my Magnetospeed and, some day, I'll find enough money that I don't want to spend on another, and another, ..... rifle and dump the dough into one of those. 'till then, my MS is my sweetheart.

I don't see any Magnetospeed units for sale in the Classifieds(at great prices) at any price. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

I am going to give my Magnetospeed sporter model a go one more time. If it keeps falling off the barrels, I am done. I am interested in the LabRadar.

I have never had any loosening or shifting of my bayonet. I make sure I back the adjusting knob nearly full loose before tightening the buckle, then I turn the adjusting knob full tight. I have a LabRadar on order but I think I may keep the MSv3 for now.

I don't why you are having such a problem, I have used a MagnetoSpeed for several years on numerous calibers and barrels of different diameters and have not had this problem. Have you called Magnetospeed about this?

No only tried it a few times and gave up. Plan to give it a solid try soon. 100 degrees here so will be a couple of weeks. Is it possible that the full version has a better strap than the Sporter version?

I think it is the same strap
