You-two,
As sleepygator points out, well said...however I have no patience with people that are unwilling to lift a finger or spend 15 minutes checking into what the law is, or is not...
I've been in California for 7 years now, and have legally purchased and transferrred a number of long guns both in and out of the state of California. When I lived in Ohio, I imagined that 90 percent of the people in California were anti-gun, and when I arrived here I found that I was wrong. I have met significantly more active shooters here than I knew at home.
It pains me to see classified ads from the Midwest and East that state "no sales to California" because I'm pretty certain that the guy selling it is only doing so because he is completely ignorant...like I was...and if the guy would only spend about 15 minutes he would realize that with few exceptions, shipping to California is no different than the other states.
I am running out of tolerance for people who avoid things because of their percieved difficulty, with little or no effort to determine what is the truth is on their own. Especially in this day and age of Google, Yahoo, and the ability to seek and find information at the push of a button....
Hell, it took me all of about 2 hours to find what I legally needed to do do own an AR15 in this loving state....
In my mind this kind of laziness is what allowed these idiotic laws to be passed in the first place, and as I read this I have to wonder if I had not been transferred out here, would I be that lazy ignorant person unwilling to understand the law....
Time for a beer. ;D
