Who's Going to the CA State Long-range Championship?

Bryan S is in the lead in F/open as far as I can make out shooters are scared to post results for some reason?

Was driving. it's not the CA state, but the regional match. Day 1 below. Forecast is more wind tomorrow. 10 minutes on the F Open gun is going to be fun tomorrow...

Congrats to all the winners! Looks like it was a good tune-up for the State LR Match next week. Hopefully the weather and conditions will be as benign as they were last year.

Niklas crossfired in match 2, I get the feeling that's not happening tomorrow.

It's tight at the top.

Tough crowd! Looks like a dogfight and a fun one at that. Thanks for keeping us posted, Bryan. Good luck tomorrow everyone.

Drew

Nik was not leading F-TR after Day 1, Lee Davis was (586-11X). Nik started the day in 2nd place 4 pts behind, but with a significantly higher X-count. Scott Harris and Sean Mattson were in 3rd and 4th places with 581-19X and 580-14X, respectively.

The CA State is complete and we had a great turnout in all disciplines. It was great to see out of state shooters attending the match and we hope to see a similar turnout next year.

David Gosnell took top honors in FOpen, dropping only 3 points for 100 shots. Niklas Montin put up a good performance in TR, taking 1st. He also had a X-fire on Day 1 and made up ground on Day 2. Bob Gill was tops in Sling/Highpower.

Notable performances was Pete White, who put up a clean 400-22X today and creeped up the leader board for 2nd overall. Madison Bramley also bested her dad and many others on Day 2 with a great 397-17X!

Great shooting everyone!

Congratulations to Nik, David and Bob for their well deserved bears! Nik has been denied one for years and this is long overdue. Bob has more bears than can easily be counted. David is a first time winner and put up the big numbers to get it. Congratulations to all!

congrats to all the winners. Niklas, way to win in spite of a cross fire. Apparently, thats how you do it for this match :)

Wanted to commend Jim O'Connell & Bob Gill for running the smoothest, most professional match we've seen in a long time. the squadding/seeding was perfect, line and pits were run perfect and you can pull targets with one finger. Barbecue and awards were great. Thank you to all who helped run the match.

Couple of other call outs. Congrats to Madison Bramley for a smoking day 2 performance. Congrats to Pete White for a perfect 400 today. I had the pleasure of scoring and pulling for Dave Gosnell yesterday when he put up an awesome 599. Congrats to Bob Gill for a dominating sling performance amongst some of the best slingers in the country. Congrats to my friend Dr Pete Ricci for a very strong finish in FTR. Finally, congrats to my wife Christine for shooting a new pending womens 1K record of 200-13X

Congratulations to the winners with their new Bears! Nik - way to go buddy, that's some fine shooting. Taking home the Bear after a crossfire on Day 1 is unheard of...well, almost unheard of ;). Sounds like it was a great match and some very fine shooting!
