Who's Going to the CA State Long-range Championship?

Myself, Gary Childs, Pete White, Bud McDaniels should be there representing F-Open for sure. More others that I missed as well. Should not be a problem having 10 F-Class shooters for that Golden Bear

I am not sure who is coming from Southern CA, but there are usually quite a few shooters from there as well. We are hoping for a nice turnout.

coalinga......i shoot there lot in early 2000nds with my friend scott riles, thousand oaks, palma rifle. i win every time. scott tell me asbestos slag on firing points from mine north of there. said that he not go back. i say that i not go back either! then i hear scott win match there all time?? but i not go back.

Due to the number of F-Class competitors in previous matches, a single trophy was typically awarded. For obvious reasons, they have historically been awarded to F-Open shooters. However, it looks like there should be enough shooters in both F-Open and F-TR this year (like last year) to award trophies to both categories. Until next month, I believe this may be the only one of these in existence:

I tried very hard to be able to fly out and make this match, but unfortunately, it simply wasn't in the cards this year. For all those attending, have fun, shoot well, and you may end up with a Bear in your trophy cabinet.

The stars did not align for us! Cheryl and I cannot attend. I will be in Montana on a Bison Hunt and Cheryl is in rehab for a knee issue.
