Who stocks Bartlien?

AccuracyOne carries Bartlein barrels. Give them a call for availability. (814) 684-5322

I just bought a 7.5" x 31" 6mm, MTU contour from them for a project.

accuracy one only has 7.5 twist barrels. I called them last week. Everyone is wanting the exact same barrel as you do. there are none to be found. Ive looked high and low!!! I have a straight 1.250 krieger blank 6mm 8 twist i might sell. I am wanting to try a benchmark barrel. I hear good things about there barrels, Good luck in your search! Lee

Yes, good luck in your search. I tried to locate one several months ago, the closest I could come was "I might have one next Summer", called Sinclair and had a Krieger in my hands (just picked up the 6ppc re-barrel), in less than a week after the telephone order. Sorry Bartlien, wanted to try one of your highly rated barrels (would have been my first), but since you are unable to meet the demand, others will. 'Scoped out the Krieger, and it's the usual extreme quality. ;)

UPDATE: Please forgive any impression that I gave that these barrels are for sale. They are not. Again, I apologize for not making that clear.

My current blank inventory is listed below. I had no idea that the two Bartlein 8" x 31" HV blanks are so rare. I thought they were just nice barrels. ;)

Shilen .224 8.00 HV 28.00
Krieger .224 8.00 HV 29.25
Bartlein .243 7.50 MTU 31.00
Krieger .243 8.00 HV 27.25
Bartlein .243 8.00 HV 31.00
Bartlein .243 8.00 HV 31.00
Brux .284 9.00 MTU 31.00
Bartlein .308 10.00 MTU 33.00

The 7mm Brux and the .30 Bartlein are off at Jim Borden's shop for fitting to a long repeater tube gun action. The 7.5" is intended for a 6mm Remington on a long 700 action to shoot 115 Bergers. I have hazy plans for the others, but nothing firm. All were purchased in the last six months. I also have a Hart 14" x 26" .224 HV on order. I have shot barrels from a lot of makers but the Brux listed here is my first. I once bought a lot of barrels with 12-14" twists. As bullet quality and availability has increased, my twists keep getting tighter.

BTW, what is the matter with a 7.5" barrel? If I could not get an 8", a 7.5" is an adequate substitute.

if all goes well i should have my 6br 7.5 twist 30" mtu bartlien(accuracy one) on a trued 700 action this weekend. all that is left is for the smith to shoot it. when the build was started i wanted a 8 twist. the smith told me if i shot a 7.5 and a 8 side by side i would not be able to tell the difference. i was not going to argue with him thats for sure.
