I usually order a number #17 HV FROM KREIGER but 6 to 8 months is too long i can get a heavy palma barrel much faster will the palma barrel be ok to use for my dasher project?

As with anything, there are trade-offs. That said, I've had lighter profile barrels that shot more than good enough for F-class.

What is the purpose of your rifle?

Look at Bruno's inventory. Some don't like dealing with him, but I have had good results with him on barrels and other items.

I was typing the same thing about Bruno's. They have been good to deal with for me in the past and they have several twist and length variations of a #17 Krieger 6mm.

Unlike his prices on Powder, he sells the Krieger barrels for about the same cost as anyone else. I've bought several from him. Place the order over the phone & about a week later the brown truck makes the delivery.

+1. He's probably got ur barrel in stock. Like it or not, Lester is high on the pecking order for barrels from Kreiger and most other barrel manufacturers. I called Kreiger a few months ago after it took them 7 months to make my last new barrel. Started a new build 3 months ago, called Lester this time around and I had my barrel in 5 minutes....same price as what Kreiger wanted to charge me.
