Which Hornady Lock-N-Load Headspace Comparator for 6 Dasher

I'm seeing conflicting info on this from other forum posts, on these forums and others. Anyone know which headspace bushing one should use for the 6 Dasher? I'm seeing people say the .350 bushing, and some the .375 bushing. Does it matter, as long as one is consistent with which one they use?

Datum diameter is 0.375" for the dasher chamber.

.350 or .375 both work, Just make sure you stick with the same one. I use the .350 for my 6BR.

Even knowing datum diameters, I still use a 9mm case as a comparator. A 357 case for loaded rounds, lol! I just keep the empty case in the die box.

I've seen .350, .375, & I believe Peterson alludes to .400. An old post by Frank @ Bartlein shows .350. Is there an industry standard?

Speed/ alignment on the caliper blade. They self allign.

350 bushing should work fine. But you might contact Hornady Tech Dept and ask them also.

They're better because they're a superior product in every way. However, they are four times the cost. I never had a problem with the Hornady kit.

I tried that. Hornady said "we don't make one for a 6 dasher"
Well, duh!
I got a 350. Works fine.

You can use whatever size you want as long as you are consistent (same comparator, same calipers, etc). Just pick the one that contacts about half way up the shoulder. I personally use the SAC ones and they stay permanently mounted to a set of Mito calipers. The SAC ones are easy to use, no need for the tiny set screws the Hornady one uses. The SAC ones aren’t too expensive considering how quick you can swap out between measure headspace for different cartridges and even swap out to measure base to ogive on loaded rounds.
