Which Dog makes the best shop,, life, shooting companion?

Chocolate lab , George is my buddy and goes with me everywhere . To the shop while I work and I swear people come In To see him just as much as me. Also he is great with my four kids and hunts very well, much better than I can

Lhasa Apso named Crissy weighs 18 pounds and thinks shes 118 pound. Wont let anyone near my wife and kids. With my shop being attached to my house and everyone that comes to the house carrying a gunI'm glad she's that way.
Also have a German Sheppard pup 4 months old that I sure hope turns out the same way although she been following me every where I go.

Hi, I have a black lab, named Bailey. I inherited her from my son who bought her when he went to college. She was the runt of the litter and fit in my hand. When my son came home he moved into an apartment and I got Bailey. She is the best companion and hunting dog I ever seen. She also has a sense of humor, when you miss a bird she will find the shotgun wad and throw it at you! She is saying I'm working my paws off and you can't hit the dang birds. Even my wife, who is not fond of dogs has fallen in love with her. I never seen a dog communicate like Bailey does. She is now 13 years old, and grey. When she passes on she will be missed greatly.

Couple good pointers. Bird magnets.

Elhew blood lines ????

I have become very fond of the stafforshire or pitbull. Cant imagine a better companion. The media has a war on them like our guns, but they are so sweet.

+1 on the bully breeds. Here's our two English Bull Terriers (Gen. Patton's breed of choice, FWIW). Panda, on the left, is actually a mini-BT and is blind. Her big brother, Dodger, is a giant teddy bear. And, I agree with Alex W. - I couldn't imagine better companions.

Have a little 4 pound Yorkie that I bought for my wife except that she took up to me, most loyal dog I have ever owned but I wouldn't dream of taking her to the range I think to much of her to hurt her ears:)

Pug dog. This is Winston, he goes with me to every match I travel to. He's friendly to fellow shooters and just as importantly to other shooters' dogs, takes up very little space and eats very little.

The shop dogs are a boxer and olde english bulldog. They are great companions and keep the place on lockdown.

Just what I was hoping for in a thread.Positive responses!:);):)
Here are my other 3. We only "bought " the black Dachsund. The other 3 are rescues. We're suckers for rescues. The little brown one runs the pack.

My son met & married his wife in Canada - lived there for ~ 10 years & they acquired a mix Aussy Blue Healer / Husky. Absolutely beautiful dog, the most laid back, gentle giant i've known. Great with kids (grand kids rode him around till they were 3 or 4, but scared to death of our old cat, but I've watched that dog back 2 bears out of their garage protecting the family. Wonderful dog.
