GREAT! Just the way I wanted to start the day, wiping tears out of my eyes.
So sorry about Norman, but I know exactly where you are, had to put our Schnauzer Max down in December, and when I really get to thinking about him, I still "mist up". One of the most important parts of pet ownership is doing what's best for them in a situation like this, I have seen people in similar situations keep a suffering dog with no quality of life alive because they just can't "bring themselves to do it", to me that's really abuse.
Do what's best for Norman, because he always did his best for you, I have no regrets about euthanizing Max, 100% correct decision, we could have kept him alive a few more weeks to a couple of months, but, he was suffering and had zero chance of survival, did not want to put him through the pain just for the sake of keeping him alive.
DAMN I MISS THAT DOG!
PM me if you need a shoulder.
