What he said. That bullet works very well out of my 6XC. I've shot the 105 vld hunting bullet at prairie dogs for 3 or 4 years now. Good expansion at 800+ yards.....For example. My son shot a dog at 865 yards with the berger and I got to watch the aftermath in the binoculars. To say it was spectacular would be an understatement. He didn't hit the dog square....slightly to the right....none the less the bullets blew the side out of the dog and slung it sideways like it was hit by an explosion!

I hate to recommend a bullet that I shoot regularly.....makes them harder to find!
