Nothing new. Many folks are much more focused on talking about themselves rather than addressing the subject at hand.Apparently some folks didn't bother to read the question since they are posting about the 20 calibers and having a difference of opinion on how 20's perform.
Me n my buds top choice. Explosive tooFor 22 cal the 50 TNT is very, very, good in all respects. Especially for the price.
Almost.....grinning!50 gr Vmax. A.D.D.
Disclaimer. Have not shot the blitz king in 50 gr.
By far the 70 gr blitzking is the shi$. Unbelievable explosion from 6 br. Almost too nasty to watch..
You know it!! haha.. My pard shot some with 55 gr BlitzKings (22-250) and wow.. I mean wow. Not even running them hot and wow.. They named them correctly..Almost.....grinning!
Don’t go west of the Mississippi and think they will take over IHMSA rams with any consistency. What would it be for 22 cal? Mine is a 40 grain VMAX. They shoot GREAT in just about ALL 22 caliber center fires. They work in my 22-250. They are a NATURAL for 223 Remingtons. 222 Rem loves them too. A 40gr VMAX is ldeal in 221 Fireball. l even shoot them in a 10'' bull barrel TC Contender 22 Hornet. Those 40gr VMAX will even topple a 55 pound IHMSA RAM @ 200 Meters from that Contender with a high hit. Prairie Dogs simply go to PIECES when hit with a 40gr VMAX
The tread title:I do not carry one caliber or one gun for shooting varmint. I usually carry at least four. I have a favorite bullet for each caliber, .224, 6mm and 6.5mm all explosive on critters or the ground at velocity so they do not shoot anything in the next county.
