WHAT'S THE BEST WEAY TO SEAT PRIMERS

I have a 21st Century priming tool and I doubt you could go any better, but I don't load anywhere near the amount of rounds that you do.
I use the 21st Century priming tool and load 4-6000 rounds a year with it, I enjoy reloading and "try" to never rush. If I were using it for small game I'd use my Dillon 650XL (wishing it were a 750!), I use the Dillon for 223, 45ACP and 9mm.

You could measure some pockets, and see what variations you're working with.

The biggest issue is with the primers. If you take a close look you'll see that the anvils aren't a uniform height above the cup; they're seated on the wet priming compound by hand, and even if they started out uniform they would surely not be after they dried out (think mud cracking).

I don’t know about other primer companies but CCI doesn’t put there anvils in by hand its all done by robotics
