I would think the only thing to assure primers don’t back out over time would be a crimp like the military does
I have those. I don’t know if they are adequate to assure primers don’t back out over time. That concept is new to me.
I just auctioned one off on here.
My bad luck. I didn't know. Later when the weather gets better here I'll measure up some primer pockets and primers and test. The target will tell me if I was doing things right or wrong. If wrong then I guess I'll have to invest in a good tool. May I ask why you auctioned the unit off. Did you not like it.

Good deal, keep in touch and let us know what you find.
You can get so far out into the weeds you cant even go shoot if you dont watch it
How do the primers feed into it.?Here you go! Ask the consensus of members here and they will agree on this one!

Sir, I've won a few benchrest titles over the years and have always hand seated the primers by feel, along with many fellow benchrest champions. In my opinion you are wasting your time, unless you're the best wind and mirage reader in the world you will not see any measurable difference in your group size by going thru all of this. Consistency is important but not to this extreme in this case, your time is better spent at the range practicing and learning.Pretty sure you haven't.
This is the first thing you learn with use of an indicated K&M.
You can't feel the crush point (a tiny resistance) amidst other seating friction/forces. Then you can't see 2-4thou crush without an indication of it.
This is dynamic (springy) like shoulder bumping, and has to be measured to know it's actually right.
