what scope for 800 dollar range

Run an ad on this site for a used 36x leupold. Can pick them up for between 400.00 to 500.00 with a lifetime warranty. You can't go wrong with a Sightron either but will cost more new, or pick one up used.

bushbell refunded my for my elite 6500 because it was junk soo now i need a new scope..im shooting a tikka t3 tactical 308..and would like to get around 600 yd range..and suggestion.. i can get a ziess http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?type=product&cmCat=Related_IPL_713307&id=0012793711321a the 6.5-20 in the varmit recticle for 800 after mail and rebate and this flyer cabelas sent me is this a good buy?

There is a conquest listed in the scope section right now for $600.00. Nice looking scope. If you really want one , now is the time to jump on it.

I have read good thing about the sheperd scopes and they are in that price range. I am happy with my weaver scope in the V-Series.

I shoot a Sightron Siii 6x24 lr md on .223 ar, .223 Savage VF, 6BR 12 twist Savage LRPV, Remington PSS .308, and Remington PSS .300 Rum. The Same Scope. I have all rifles fitted with a 20 MOA rail. I found my scope for $650 second hand. I shoot with people that have night force, US Optics, Leopolds, Swaro, and Zeiss. I appologize to no one for my scope. Is it better than them? Probably not, but, I and my scope hold our own. It has been examined and compared and poked and prodded. It is clear, optically correct, repeatable, fairly mirage forgiving, with excellant side focus, and mil dots and moa clicks that match. It is worth every penny to me. rc

How can we compare clarity of a Zeiss that has a maximum 20x to a Nightforce that has a maximum of 42x? The NF picture set at 20x is much better than when it is set at 42x.
