Is this gun bad for long range shooting?

My son has a Sako A7 (tikas twin) in 7-08 with a Bushnell mildot. Not sure of the power. Scope is so so and not as good as my Sightrons. Not a competition rifle but he regularly shoots 3" target pasters at our 350yard range. The Sako and Tika have a very decent trigger and make great, accurate huntin/varmint rifles. He has killed a few critters with it and the one thing he loves is that it is a very consistent cold bore shooter..
