You don't need to wear a ridiculous vest (gunsmithing apron) or nitrile gloves to seat to +\- 0.0005" thou depth. Just an ugly PCPSIf I had to seat a primer to .0005 tolerance and wear that ridiculous vest and gloves to win a match, I’d give up and go bear hunting in my skivvies with only a knife and a short rope.
I would rather look ridiculous for 5 minutes vs the rest of my life when I am sporting a glass eye.
As far as the gloves, I like to keep my equipment in rust free condition. I have oily skin and overtime will make bare steel components rust out.
So you are saying in order to win in benchrest I need to reload in my underwear, use a hand priming tool from the 80's and have a FUDD attitude?
