What is the most consistent priming tool

I know of at least TWO HOF shooters that use the OLDER LEE auto prime/round tray. I have a Old Lee that came with their "Target Loader" ( seating depth is adjustable ) that I use when working work up loads at the range and a Round tray Lee for volume work.

What is the most consistent priming tool for seating depth/feel/etc. What do you like and why? Thanks!

My RCBS Hand Priming Tool: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/329291/rcbs-hand-priming-tool It's direct, fast, and efficient and easy to refill.

Plus, a second seating of the primer, after rotating the case 180 degrees.

so you got lots of replies..
now go pick the data from the opinions...
yes primers are suppose to have a crush after bottom seating...see the mil spec comment.
the issue with FEEL is your hand will vary from the first 2 or 3 to the last in a bunch of just 100..

lee tools work very well
i have a sinclair expensive tool i do not like
the km and the other two tools mentioned i have not used

bottom out the primer and a small crush....

Much of this stuff has been known, still a lot to learn of course.
We should all know primers will still fire whether seated consistently or not, and that primer ignition is not the only factor contributing to an outcome.

I think it should be known that anything done by feel, like primer seating or bullet seating or sizing, cannot be assumed within precision of measure. And that a question of 'most consistent' in any discussion, must include measure.

Now we're discussing 'most consistent', and we're either measuring it, or we're not.

Mike, I use a bench-mounted RCBS Automatic Priming Tool. Primer seating is done standing so that I can put my weight on the handle. My ES runs 5-9 fps in .300 WSM and holds vertical pretty well at 1000.

Steve - I just knew I was doing it wrong all these years. Will get a longer handle so I can hang my body weight on it. As long as I can watch my diet and body weight, the "crush" should be consistent :)

Note that I did not say to do it like I do. Less about what is "right" than that it may not matter as much as believed. It is also worth noting that I use Russian primers which cause problems for some. Mine all work. [br]
In all this discussion, I saw no one cite a simple test that would demonstrate that one method is superior.

Yes, I got the k&m primer pocket uniformer, and I feel that it, along with a fairly good feeling primer seated will give me pretty good consistency. Probably better than priming on my old Lee press. I have made some very accurate ammo on that thing, but now my Harrels press will take over that duty.
