What happened to SnipersHide

I have been on the site for some years and have met alot of good people and have had many positive transactions. It does suck that change happened and time will tell as you roll on with it. I have got a lot of useful info from the site but you do at times have to weed through the crap. I will have to say that i have laughed my butt off many times over the stuff i have seen get stirred up by people.

I also lost my user name as it was taken and all my feedback from sales. Also the people i new by their user name that lost it also will be a pain trying to find out who they are again. I guess time will tell how things go but right now i have been avoiding the sight alot. You will be able to go into the old site and read only as it will be saved.

I love this site and all the great people here. I enjoy it here very much and have learned a lot of valuable info over the years not to mention the wonderful friendships i have accuried also over the years.

If alot of people start spilling over here and start with their crap i hope they put the hammer down and put it down quick.

Maybe with the change over there more of the accuracy minded shooters will land here. Most of what I saw over there was gi joe crap but did find some useful information on a couple of cartridges (6.5 saum & 338 LM imp) that didn't get a lot of attention here.

I had stopped visiting the Hide some time ago.

The format change is not surprising as the Hide operator is commercial and I don't think the old format was making money.

Heck, I like the hide, it's a whole different mindset, and a whole different behavior is allowed. That said, it's not for everyone, no diff than benchrest shooting isn't for everyone.
It does humor me though that a good share of it's members actually believe that accuracy, and the cartridges they seem to embrace were derived from some tactical style competition That and the fact that most couldn't possibly develop a load w/o Varget, H4350, or H1000.
Some of the disputes between members can be epic, and should never be deleted, if for no other purpose than to remind people on how not to act.

Password didn't work, so I clicked the forgot password link, and they emailed me a link to change my password. Changed it to what it was before, and I'm in. If you re-register instead of clicking "forgot password", then of course you'll have to choose a new handle because your old one is already taken -- by you!

The new format looks straightforward to me, and the search feature is at the top center of the of the page -- just type your search word(s) and click the search symbol. What's not to like?

I must be dense. I have tried this numerous times and it logs me in under my email address and not my user name. Upon attempting to enter my inbox it tells me I do not have authorization to enter it. SUCKS!

Had to laugh a bit at this post. Those three powders are pretty much all I use.

In my defense, I will say they were my go to powders long before I found Sniper's Hide.
