Wet Moly coating

Thank you! Seeing that your bullets before polishing look just like mine gives me peace of mind. I know I'm on the right track and just need to do that one exta step to get it right.

They will be quite ugly out of the bottle. But after polishing, like you can see, they shine like black chrome. They will also be squeaky clean and the moly will not get on your fingers. You will notice in the pic that it also gets the water out of the hollow point.

I had someone challenge me that it had been "proven" that moly causes rust in barrels or attracts water out of the air. He produced a PDf document written by a government contractor as proof. The paper was not even talking about DRY moly, it was talking about WET moly used in industrial applications. Like leaving a bucket of solvent open in a shop will collect water. It had nothing to do with dry moly applications. If this is what everyone is talking about they need to read the document.

If moly attracted water from the air my decade old bullets would be oxidized. As a matter of fact, I have a bunch of ten year old bullets that are still as shiny as the day I coated them.
