Well, my 243 is throwing 108s at 3350 FPS. I really, don't think any 6BR is ever going to do that.
Welll, no........ all's you've "proven" is that it's better to be on the right side with the admins than to be right.

Some pusbucket eliminated my post because "saying the 6BR beats the 243AI is unsafe"

Your 243 throwing 108's at 3350 destroys it's brass in three reloads, if that. (unless you're using small-primer cases in which case you're just a prick)

ON THIS SITE there are many examples and posted loads wherein the 6BR pushes 108's to 2900 SAFELY

And ON THIS SITE when you link to reloading references to the 243AI you will see some of them them max'd out at...oooops..... 2900fps in fact EVERY comprehensive workup from a reloading manual will stop at 2900.....

http://www.6mmbr.com/243Win.html

Sure, there are references to guys running the 243AI up over 3300, I've done the same...... with 20 different setups using 5 different 243AI reamers and multiple barrels and actions. But you will never get caselife because you're running 'WAYYYY over the pressure the 243 case is designed to run. The 6MMBR case is a DESIGNED hotrod, the 243 is not. (altho now you can buy hotrod brass for it ;) )

I'm done...... you just keep on running a large-primer case up to 80,000 psi because people say it's OK.

And I'll crawl back under my rock 'fore I get somebody hurt

My primers aren't even flat at 3350.

You just called the Forum Boss a "pusbucket"? Interesting idea. I can't wait to see how that's going to turn out.

I think @alinwa is saying someone derailed his thread and the forum boss took it down. He’s calling the guy who messed up his thread the pusbucket.

Forum Boss: I removed Alinwa’s post as unsafe, invalid, incorrect, and irresponsible. If he is attacking anyone, he is attacking me, the site owner, and the person who has written more words about the 6mmBR cartridge than any one else on earth. I am also privy to factory test data he has never seen.

Thanks for the explanation forum boss.

Meds ?

I, Forum Boss and site owner, eliminated Alinwa’s post because he claimed a 6mmbr would easily and safely match velocities of a .243 AI. That is absolutely false, and to suggest this is dangerous.

I have loaded both cartridges and did extensive load testing with Lapua brass for both 6BR And .243 Win and .243 AI, both standard primer and small primer .308 Win necked to 6mm. I wrote the Cartridge Guides for these cartridges. I created the 6mmbr.com site. I know what the 6BR can and cannot do.

There is a reason John Whidden has won multiple NRA LR National Championships shooting the .243 Win, not the 6mmBR. Simply because he can achieve more Velocity safely with heavy 6mm bullets.

Alinwa posted false claims that pose a safety issue for any shooter who attempts to achieve .243 AI performance with a 6mmbr.

Consistent with our stated policies on this board, Alinwa was issued a warning.

He has chosen to respond to the warning by repeating unsafe and false performance claims and directing “fighting words” to other Forum members and to site administrators.

Accordingly Alinwa is now banned from this site.

Guys, please take note. My number 1 responsibility is the safety of members. If you advocate unsafe practices or make claims that are likely to cause someone to load dangerous ammo, you will be removed from the Forum.

There will be no discussion, no hand-holding. You will be out, gone, done, forever. Got that?

I want to add something else. Dealing with this kind of issue, i.e. going back through a member's posting history, then verifying the need to ban takes time, time that is better spent providing important services for all the members.

Member Alinwa has been a member of this site for nearly six years. During that entire time he has used services I provided and I paid for. And in that entire time he has not remitted a single penny to the site. I owe this character nothing.

So I want other members to realize I will react swiftly and mercilessly to any improper conduct and especially to posts that have a potential to harm.

Justice came swift but fair"

I always liked Alinwa.

I for one have understood from day one that being a member here is a privilege not a right..

I hope I never forget.

In memory of Al all I can say is....
My rifle is junk, I'm a lousy shot, and I should get myself a real gun!!
Interesting. I hadn't kept up on his posts which were usually off the wall but entertaining. Unsafe stuff though? Yeah, definitely not good.
I kinda seen it coming in his posts since he was given a warning.
Gonna miss the hick speak furr shurr!
