Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Been lurking for a while thought I might introduce myself. I'm a life long shooter and hunter. Recently started reloading again after a 25 year break. I'm loading 223/5.56 for a Unitah wylde set up. And 45-70 government lever action. Howdy!

Hi everyone!
I actually joined a long time ago but spent quite a lot of time out of the country but I have been retired due to medical reasons so i would like to spend some time on learning some reloading. I barely feel like I have lived here 30 years already having relocated.
I recently asked a question and was warmly welcomed and had a lot of my questions answered.
I was even invited by a prominent member to reach out to him any time.
I basically didn't expect all this. I am currently living in the intermountain West.
I am currently shooting a semiautomatic .308 but i am hoping to expand my collection and definitely gear up for reloading.

Hello folks! I am a retired engineer/machinist from Upstate SC. Been reloading since the late 70’s, but never chased the last bit of accuracy. Until now…. Rabbit hole, here I come! I reload pistol calibers on a Dillon 750, but .223 and 22-250 on the Rockchucker I have had since 1977. Looking forward to getting advice from those more experienced than me! Danny

My name is Lily, I haven't been able to shoot in years. I'm currently working on a game which will be using a reload station, with a semi-in-depth process. Allowing the player to choose their projectile type and caliber, along with powder, primer, and possible wadding. I'm currently looking into the legal aspects of using the real-life data of the individual components of some popular calibers, for example using the chemical properties of the propellants to estimate the force behind the projectile, and other mechanical forces made upon the cartridge and firearm.
Anyway Nice to meet everyone, I hope to find out something new.

Hi,
Graeme Black from Edinburgh in the Uk.
I’ve got 6.5x55, 6.5PRC 7mm PRC and 300PRC. I reload mainly for hunting but just got my 7mm and looking to do some long range targets.

Welcome, I would email RotoMetals, they sell in bulk, tell them how much(#) you need. They sell shot, so a pro gun company.

Hello. New to this forum and forums in general. Been shooting and reloading for around 12 years, but everyday I realize there's a ton to learn. Had a couple of old prairie dog shooters get me started in reloading and tried to learn as much as I could from them. My favorite is a Savage 12 FV in 243. Replaced the original barrel with an E.R. Shaw Ackley improved stainless a number of years ago. Always trying to get smaller groups and figured this would be a great place to learn. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the addiction! Do yourself a favor, set up a separate account just for reloading or gun stuff and everyone here loves to spend other peoples money suggesting the next best thing to shave 10ths off your aggregate!

Just kidding (not really, but kinda)

If ever having trouble working out an issue, post a complete detailed account of what your process is, your problem, goals and in short order you will have 7 ways to fix it.

Hello I’m Dave from WA state, always hunted Deer and Waterfowl but now I have a passion for Varmint
Shooting. I picked up a 17 Hornet and a 20 VarTarg
Of this site and looking forward to doing some loads for these Rifles. It’s definitely going down a Rabbit hole for me but I’m looking forward to learning.

Hey all, I used to reload many years ago and I'm hoping to find the time to get back into the hobby now that I live in the NV desert and have access to long flat stretches of land. I've got a Howa mini in 6.5 Grendel that I want to develop some loads for. I look forward to bouncing ideas off you all.

Hello all,
I’m Raymond from Texas and I’m new to the site. Background in pistol (IPSC, IDPA), shot 3GUN for years, and have reloaded pistol and a little rifle. Really just getting into precision reloading, I’ve had success with 308 and 6.5 PRC. Now I’m venturing into F class with a 284 Shehane.
I know my attention to detail and precision will have to be more focused to be competitive in that arena. Looking forward to learning.

Hello, I'm Buckey from N. Florida. Been reading this site for years and decided to jump in. Hunter and target shooter but like accurate guns. Bat, Krueger, jewel and was on my way,! This is a very good place to learn. Good group of guys!!! Thank you very much for time and patience.

Howdy everyone. Been a member for just a little time, thanks to the behest of two acquaintances. Hailing from Lubbock, but lived all over Texas. Been shooting for roughly 20 years now, seriously though the past 15 years, and just now getting serious about reloading.

Hello,

My name is Jeff from the New Orleans, LA area. New to the shooting sport & just started reloading about 2 months ago. I am shooting PRS & F-Class. Challenging sport!
