Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Good evening!
I’m from the foothills of NC, been reloading for a couple of years now and am just now getting into benchrest shooting mainly at private range shooting everything from 50yrd 22lr to 1000+yard center fire. Currently reloading 308, 6GT, and soon to be 30BR. Have been reading on the forum for a long time and am very appreciative of the knowledge I’ve gained from so many experienced members. Finally joined hoping to learn some more as well as share anything I can with the few who may be less experienced or knowledgeable than myself.
Welcome to AS.

Hello everybody!

I have been reloading with the Lee Classic Loader for .308 for a few years now, and I just got my first full reloading set up. I have been lurking here on the forum for a bit, and I have learned a ton already. Previously, I was just loading in a simple way as a hobby and to make decent, better-than-factory plinking loads for my rifle, but I got the bug and have decided to pursue a little greater accuracy potential. I will do my best to use the search, but I might have to ask some noob questions for things I do not understand well enough to even know how to search for yet.

Thanks for having me!

Hello everyone I have been hand loading for pistol and rifle for about 10 years now. I have always had a passion for shooting long range and am lucky enough to have a 1k rifle range only a few miles from where I live. I am currently spending more time loading and shooting 6.5cm , 7 rem mag, 308 Winchester, and 300RUM. I have competed in a few F open with the 7mag with good results but recently built an F-TR gun for 1k 308 shoots.

I’m new to the forum and anxious to learn. I’ve been reloading for decades and am a precision reloader. I reload 6PPC, 22-250 AK IMP, 223 and plan 400 Legend (not sure I can beat factory 215 loads). I have used Quick Load since the 90s. Any info on 400 Legend reloading will be appreciated.

Long time reloader (1974) avid shooter / hunter, and predator hunter from Upstate NY. Currently reloading for a 20 Tactical, 257 Roberts , 257 Roberts AI and a pair of Creeds. I have posted in here about the 20tact.

I used to be on here a long time ago as GSPKurt, but I can't use that old email due to it being hacked a few years ago, so I rejoined as Swampgunner. Looking for load info on the 300 PRC & 22ARC.

Hello All,
As the name implies enjoy shooting, not a competitor, would consider myself as an experienced novice as far as reloading. I try to get to the range at least monthly, more in the summer. Enjoy economical shooting, 22lr, .223, 9mm. Just recently built a 6X45 upper, getting scope for Christmas and will be starting load development soon. Have found some very useful info here, and hope to find some people that share same or similar interests.

Howdy everyone, new member here

I currently load for a few calibers for plinking and hunting. Looking at potentially getting into competitive shooting of some flavor or other.

Currently load or can load for:
8x57, 7mm Rem Mag, .30-30, .270Win, .243Win, 6.5 CM, 6.5 Grendel, .308Win, 5.56/.223, and .277 Wolverine

Welcome to Accurate Shooter. Enjoy the site, ask questions if necessary on any subject, use the search function for the archives. Plenty of excellent information.

Hello,
I'm a new reloader here in Ohio who inherited reloading equipment and thought I'd put it to use. So far I generally reload in the cold winter months after the hunting season has passed. My current question that caused me to join the forum relates to crimping 357 loads. Not sure how to determine the amount of crimp to apply. I reloaded a batch according to the Hornady manual and went to the range. The spent cases were expanding too much. After deconstructing a few rounds to make sure they were to spec, I contacted Hornady who suggested that I might have too much crimp. So I thought I'd ask more experienced folks on how I can determine the appropriate amount of crimp. Thanks.

Hello,
Mike checking in from Southeast Michigan. I’ve been reloading for target shooting for a few years and enjoy working up loads for 9mm, 38 spl, 7mm-08 Rem and .270 Win.
Found this forum while looking up info on the many questions and load data intel. Looking forward to learning more from the vast amount of knowledge in here. Thanks.

Hello,
Todd from North Carolina. I have only been reloading for a handful of years, suckered into it by my FIL who has been reloading for many decades. I do a little bit of hunting and a little bit of range shooting. Reloading for me includes 6.5 Grendel, .243, 5.56/.223, just starting on 260 Rem and sometime later this year 6.5 PRC. I found that this site has more info than one can possibly utilize. Very appreciative of those willing to share their knowledge and ask questions. Thanks

Hi everyone, have been reading the posts here for a while but finally decided to take the plunge and introduce myself. Wayne from Virginia. No benchrest F-Class, no short or long range competitions....for now. Just traditional calibers on a home range. I have, though, entered and begun tunneling feverishly down the rabbit hole of reloading, load development and trying to get the most accurate reloads I can. Have gotten great info on this site and appreciate everyone's input and ideas.

Hi everyone, new to the site—today, in fact! I didn't see any obvious way to post; please excuse if I've made an error (it looks like I am doing a reply, which was not my intent). I've reloaded and shot off and on through the years, never seriously, but now that I'm retired I can invest more time and up my game. I'm a fanatic about precision in just about everything, so naturally I enjoy reloading, even highly repetitive tasks. I've got a Remington 700 SA that my local gunsmith is rebarreling (Bartlein 1 in 8) and reaming for 6BR; I'm dropping it into an MDT chassis with such accessories as fit my budget. Figured I'd try Alpha cases—they arrived today, together with Varget , bullets, etc. Looking forward to some informative exchanges here!

Welcome in to all the new guys. Tons of great info and people in here. It helps alot if your a silver or gold member. The forum boss puts in alot of work here.

I've been lurking for a while, decided to go ahead and create a profile and post.

James from Texas. My grandfather got me into reloading and I've taken what he did and gone way further into the rabbit holes. I don't shoot competitively or anything like that, just like the entire process of developing something specific to my rifles that I know will put the projectile where I want it to go at just about any range I'll shoot. I mostly hunt, occasionally like to just plink. I reload for rifles, pistols an shotguns.
Not new to reloading - I'm on my 3rd decade at least, but always looking for more information or methods that make it better and more fun.

Hello,
Kansas guy here. Been lurking for a while. Long time hunter. I've done a lot of shooting over the years as it relates to hunting. Got into bow hunting for the last while but have the itch to do some long range shooting and maybe some prs. That's led me to reloading and all the rabbit trails that takes a guy down. Been working on a printable brass annealer and been stealing ideas from the GinnaEric thread for a while.
