This forum definitely seems it may be helpful, especially for the BR shooters. Most of my shooting and reloading are for live game. I look forward to the interaction and any good advice.
Thanks.

Hey y’all! Name is David, stage name, Magnum. I spend most of my time loading for 6bra, 6dasher and for a few months 6.5 creed. I mostly shoot PRS matches, but occasionally shoot some ELR.

I’d say my favorite caliber has to be the 17wsm— it’s a real hammer on ground squirrels, and I don’t have reload it, and it suppresses great.

I’ve loaded for a decent amount of calibers to some extent, starting with the little guys:
20-223AI
6 BRA
6 Dasher
6 Creed
6 PRC
25 Creed
25PRC
6.5 Creed
6.5 PRC
7 Mag
28 Nosler
300 Hammr
308
300 Win Mag
300 Norma
33 Nosler
33XC
460 SW

I think that’s it! Glad to join the forum.

Hello there,

I’m from Arizona. Just got into reloading using a Classic Lee Loader. Specifically wanted some 308 Win loads that weren’t commercially available, or in anyway commonly available, so, here I am. Got the bug.

Been having a ton of fun doing it. Hope to get to know you all better.

Mark from Southern California. I have been lurking for months.
I'm a new shooter and learning to reload, currently working on loads for a 300 PRC.
Before this rifle I reloaded for a 6.5 CM rifle with some success.
I started with a $500 Lyman reloading kit but I have since replaced every single piece.

New to site shooting 200 yard bench rest. Using 700 Remington custom class .243.

In 2017 I was using a Redding micrometer powder dispenser and a Hornady GS 1000 scale. What should I use now in 2024? After looking at hundreds of sites and youtubes I am confused!

Hi Joe,

Good to see you made it on here and are using the site. Don't forget to let the guys know that it is a 1:10 twist you are looking for advise on.

John
John In 2017 I was using a Redding micrometer powder dispenser and a Hornady GS 1000 digital scales. Now in 2024 what are your recommendations for upgrades?

Long time lurker first time poster. Not new to shooting, but new to reloading. Currently building up my reloading inventory and knowledge, haven’t put brass to die yet. Just here to learn from you all, thanks!

Greg Van Stralen from Wenatchee, WA (Dry Side of the mountains!)

I was just able to get down to my reloading room after at least 2 years of remodeling and health problems (Found 5-6 firearms, 15 rifle cases and beau coup boxes of supplies, brass for guns I don't own any more, and other junk=will have to sort through things and decide what I'm gonna keep and what I will get rid of!).

Been shooting for 60+ years, reloading for nigh on 50(+); calibers from22-250 & 22 Hornet to 458 Win Mag, 45-70, & 45-90. Smokeless & BP. Taken game with handgun, rifle & BP. Guided P/T while in grad school (BS & MS in Biology).

Anything else, just ask!

Take lots of notes; check at least 2 manuals for loads and don't let ANYTHING distract you!

Greetings All:
Am fairly new to the site as well as bench rest shooting. Have already been reloading some and look forward to learning a lot here.

Hello!
New to reloading, looking to learn from others. Just accumulating hardware and shopping around for the rest.

Taking it slow. I'll be reloading for .243, 6.5CM and 7mm RM, thanks!

Good evening!
I’m from the foothills of NC, been reloading for a couple of years now and am just now getting into benchrest shooting mainly at private range shooting everything from 50yrd 22lr to 1000+yard center fire. Currently reloading 308, 6GT, and soon to be 30BR. Have been reading on the forum for a long time and am very appreciative of the knowledge I’ve gained from so many experienced members. Finally joined hoping to learn some more as well as share anything I can with the few who may be less experienced or knowledgeable than myself.
