Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hello,

My name is Chad and I am mainly a hunter. Lately I have become intrigued with the precision shooting game. I was told about this site by a friend of mine that shoots bench and decided to check it out. I love it. I thought I knew a bit about loading and accuracy, but this opens up a whole new world to me. Just hope my checkbook can keep up!!!!

Hi,
My name is Ron. Started reloading in 1969, was 21 at the time. Just a few years ago.
Got started by an older gentleman, seemed older at the time). He was a retired engineer from Redstone Arsnal. Learned a lot from him.
Like to hunt and fish. Like to reload about as much as shooting, ok maybe not.
Live in LA, lower Alabama.
Glad to be here.

Hi - I've been a handloader for about 10 years now. Started out reloading pistol calibers for IDPA shooting. But my true passion lies in long range varmint hunting. Last year my wife got me a Browning 25-06 for Christmas and I've got a AR in 308 on order. Great forum so far. Glad to be here.

Hello
my name is Keith i have been reloading and shooting on and off since i was 14 years old and now i am building my own guns and having lots of fun doing that,I have done some things for friends and they love the results. My hobbies are prairie dog hunting and fly fishing and of coarse big game hunting. I have to date built 2 22br's,257 roberts,7MM WSM,7MMSTW,6.5-284,and 2 300 ultra mags. Happy to be part of this great site.

I, I'm new to the forums of this site, usually haunting another Canadian web site.
I'm shooting a 6 BR now with a 6 PPC on the way as I type.
Here to learn all I can and get more results from an already fantastic rifle.

Brian, do let us know how the VarTarg comes out. A couple guys were building a VarTarg and were supposed to do a story with us but they disappeared. Cooper was going to supply a VarTarg for testing and, well... we're still waiting.

I'm interested in your Switch Barrel. I have a friend with just the reverse--a 6BR, 22 Dasher switch.

Heya,

Hello all,

My name is paul and I'm very happy to be a part of this site.
I've been reading alot of your information on rifle actions, calibers etc. for a couple months now. I'm a gunsmith in training, and have been reloading for 20+ years. I was a gunners mate in the Navy a while back. I've always been an avid shooter/hunter. Starting squirrel hunting in like 1975.

From what I've seen of your site, it's one of the best. I've been on a couple other sites where the members fight and argue more than me and my wife. And it's all about who has the most expensive guns, who has the most knowledge on this or that, I'm the best tig welder, Mausers stink, get an 03-A3, blah, blah, blah. There like a bunch of kids.

Anyway I'll stop my rant and say I look forward to chating with you all.

Hi all, I have been a member here for quite a while but don't post much . My main home is another website but there is always a lot of good information here .

I shoot mainly Tactical style matches and spent a number of years playing in the IPSC, 3-gun and Tactical shotgun arena before I got into LR precision rifles . I have been reloading for about 8 years and am not a perfectionist buy any means but after my first .38 special loads off of a crappy Lyman aluminum press shot so accurately I was hooked . Lifes to short to shoot factory ammo .

Hi everyone, John From Georgetown here. I've been a fan of 6mmbr.com for a while and now I figured I'd get on here and pick your collective brain. I just bought some Lapua brass for a 6.5x47 and the size of the exractor groove varies so much that about 1/3 of the cases will not fit in my shell holder. Has Lapua had problems with this new case? I always thought they were the benchmark, but this has shaken my confidence in them a little. If anyone knows anything, I'd love to hear from you.

Hi to everyone. My name is Steve and my full-time job is working on a Nitro Funny Car. When I get the time I shoot targets at the range and reload for all of my rifles and some handgun stuff. There is an incredible amount of info on this sight. It really helped me when I got started on my 30BR to see how the pro's set up cases for it and the loads to get started with. I look forward to talking guns with everyone.

Hi all
My name is Cliff but also go by CJ and Mach V. A prairie dog fettish has brought here looking for info for the new 6br and 22PPC.Found a lot more than just info = good sight!!

Hello all,
Steve from Northern Wisconsin here. Stumbled upon you guys on a google search. Have been loading for close to 10 years, but seriously for only the last 3. I am hoping to learn a thing or two.

Hello, my name is Zech,Zac,Zack or Zeke whatever, but my given name is Zechary. I have been reloading for about ten years now. Thought I knew what I was doing until I met an ex-brenchrest shooter, and now I am back to square one. I am advancing quite nicely I think! I am now getting into 6ppc and no more factory stuff for me,ammo and guns). Custom is the way to go. This is my addiction! This is a great site!!!!!!

Have been reloading off and on for years. want to take .223's and make into .17's. any info appreciated. also looking for reloading tables for same and what is best accurate round

Hello,

I am currently building a 6mm AI to shoot prairie poodles and the occasional wild hog. Here for mostly that. I also hunt big game and winged creatures here in New Mexico.
