Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

New here - but have been reading and learning a lot. After visiting here I decided to dust off a 13 year old Remington PSS in .30 and see just how far I can take it. It has been good to get back to reloading for it. Thanks for the care and feeding of this site. Donation on its way

Hi everybody!

I've recently taken up highpower rifle competition with an AR15, both service and match divisions. I've found quite a bit of useful information on this forum, and I'm hoping to find more.

Folks: I have hovered about following along with many of your post and some mighty fine conversations and thoughts.
My interest in handguns and long ones has/is an on-going thing which most of you know about.
I found this place by 'Google' reloading forum and am glad I did.
Having many questions and enjoying the answers caused me to join.
I too will have many thoughts and "questions"

Thanks for having such a Forum

Craig

Mostly shoot F-class T/R, but am now building a new rifle in 6 or 6.5 "something". I really appreciate this site and forum! It's the best I've found for precision shooting.

Thanks!

Hi folks,
I'm new here, and new to reloading. Have yet to load my first case. What a great place to learn when you know absolutely nothing!!!
I bought a beginner's kit to get started. Used calipers to measure 7mag factory ammo and compared it to a reloading book's dimensions. The overall length of factory ammo was much longer.........HELP!!!!!! How close to "factory" does it have to be?
Any help would be much, much appreciated!!!
Thanks Al

Hi, I'm Jeff Dorr, and I'm a firearms enthusiast.

I've looked through these forums on occasion, and found some very knowledgeable folks that could possibly help me out with some of my loading and building dilemmas. I have some little knowledge to return,if needed.

I am a mechanic, and autobody repairman by trade, so I have some mechanical knowledge, probably enough to be dangerous where firearms are concerned. I'm mainly here to learn, and improve my reloading abilities.

Hello all. I'm new here and to reloading, well as of tomorrow when all that stuff from Midway shows up in the big brown truck. Loading for 308 to start with.

Cheers,
Pete

Hello All, My name is Kari Prager and I've been reloading for several years, but pretty
much in a vacuum except for what I have read. I am reloading for .22 Hornet, which is a challenge, and for my military target rifles, Swiss, Swedish, English and Finnish.
I've been following this forum for a little while and am pleased to become a more
active part of it. Scrmblerkari is for my Triumph Scrambler; I am a BMW and Triumph
motorcycle dealer in real life.

Hello; My name is Dave Walker. I am new to the gun thing. I just started reloading and shooting a few weeks ago. I bow hunted for 25 years and had much better luck with a bow than a gun. I moved to S.L.C. Utah 7 months. ago from up state N.Y. Got a job here as a Range Manager at the PMAA shooting range. So I got interested in target shooting. I bought a custom made target rifle in a 6mm 284 with a 29" shilen barrel and a 10 twist 700 rem action that has been trued. I am hoping someone here can help me get a load set up started.

Hello; names Toon. New to the centerfire scene coming from a scatter gun background. I just brought a HOWA 243 vaminter supreme and need all the help I can get. My friends say I can't hit the wide side of a barn even if I was in it with a rifle and thus I've been a scatter gun guy for all this time, not too bad at it either!).

Hi everyone, my name is Patrick Kennedy, my interest is in Savage rifles. I have shot in a few local bench-rest matches, and would like to shoot in more matches. I love learning and hope to learn a lot from this site. You guys have a great site.

I have a 22BR -- .243 winchester -- and just got an older Colt/Sako rebarreled with a HART barrel to 6mm BR. No scope on it yet taking my time through the winter months to get it all together for the Spring. I am so glad I found this site...the most useful reason for the internet.

Hi! I'm also a new member to the forum. I've shot high power rifles most of my life,58years). Now retired and,I'm shooting more than ever. Never had a "real" Bench-rest gun,but some real accurate varminter rifles. I shoot about 3-4 days a week at our local club. I'm looking forward to the information on this sight, and there's allot of it.:) Ron

Hello, I live in central Mn and enjoy target shooting and long range hunting although I don't get as much time as I would like to do either.

I have been loading for 15 years now and one thing that I have learned over and over again is the fact that there is so much more to learn!! I load for the 22-250, 30-06, 300wsm and 325wsm. I found the site reading through longrangehunting.com and am looking forword to the knowledge of this forum.
