Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hey,

Great site, fairly new to reloading.

Any info for the 7mm SAUM would be greatly appreciated.

Shooting a trued rem 700 and trueflite 28'' barrel.

Have got some Norma 300SAUM brass and 162gr A-MAX,s to start.

Sorry sir, I thought I did this once before.

My name is Dale. I've been reloading and casting bullets since the early 1960s.

After running the gun/caliber gamut for 50+ years, I am just shooting lever action rifles for the most part now. Old eyes and now require scopes. Recently purchased a new Stainless Ruger 77/44 mag rifle so now I have one bolt gun. It was bought to replace A Henry Big Boy that I had problems with. I cast bullets and reload and ring the gong for fun. Sub MOAs are of no interest to me. Marlin 336 in .35Rem, Marlin 1895 - 45 70gov., several old Winchesters in 30 30, a Browning lever in 30 06 and a few others that I no longer take to the range.

Hello all.Scott from Texas. Not new to reloading, most of my groups can be covered with a dime at 100.Looking for any advice to get me one hole...thx

I'm Tyler, and for now I'm only shooting a factory Remington 700 .300 win mag. I'm having a 6x47 lapua built for 1000 yard but that won't be ready til near the end of the year I'm told. So I figured I'd start practicing loading for my 300, which is why I'm here, to learn.

Hello to all the good people on this site and I'm glad to be on board.
Im looking forward to receiving advise everyone has to offer and I'm also willing to share with everyone some I may have. There is something I need to ask, does anyone have any 444 marlin brass they would be willing to sell or tell me where I may be able to get some. Thanks and again glad to be a part of this community.

Hello All,

New to the forum guys and look forward to picking up some good load info. for my new 264 win mag. My intent was a long range beanfield gun and I wanted to try a new caliber, as I have always been a 7 mag or 300 mag guy. I know the 264 seems to have a pretty dedicated following and I cannot wait to send some down range.

My rifle is built on a Model 70 action with a LV 27" Kreiger barrel, A5 McMillan stock, jewel trigger, 6.5x20 Mark 4 Leupold, 20 minute Davidson Bases and NF rings. It turned out great and I look forward to working up some loads for my new piece. Hopefully, I can gain some valuable info. from some of you guys that have a history with this round.

Good Shooting,

Lambert

Hi,
I purchased my second bench rest rifle a savage model 12 6BR 1:8 twist with a 26" barrel. I joined this forum being a 6BR newbie and there seems to be a lot of support for the 6BR shooter.

Greetings to all. JK from El Paso, Texas. I have been visiting this site for a few weeks gaining knowledge about precision rifle shooting and reloading. I have been shooting and hunting for over 50 years and reloading for shotgun, pistol and rifle for 48 years. Only lately have I become interested in long range precision rifles. I have taken mule deer at ranges up to 400 yards with no problem, but never set out to do so. However, now I look forward to the challenge of consistently hitting targets out to 1000 yards.

HI! ya'll I'm just getting into the computer/internet thing.Retired (35 yrs.) office equip. service tech. I was a periferial tech.,managed to stay away from the computers themselves; had plenty to keep up with w/o computers too. I've been handloading 30+ yrs. although not to your level of accuracy. Mainly long range hunting type. Striving for head/neck ,dead-never heard the shot out to 500yds. depending on situation/conditions (read NO suffering just lights out). Load most common calibers pistol and rifle, don't mess w/shotgun any more. I'm in the process of building a 7mm wildcat on a savage action initially. Looking real hard at the 7mm Practical and the 7mm Valkerye. Hope I won't be a pest , 'cause I know I'm gonna ax sum dum questions.Think i've said 'nuff an yu won't hold too much against me. Have a good one.scpaul

Hi
Just getting into long range, I have an 18" Sauer .308 at the moment but I see a major purchase coming.
Been deer stalking for 25 years and got bitten by the long range bug.

Looking forward to learning from the Forum

Howdy folks
Dustin Payne here
Been reloading for a couple years always looking to learn more. Glad to be here thanks for having me

Hi, my name is Dave and I have been reloading for about four years now.

Joined a local rifle club at about the same time and got back into shooting after I had to give up deer hunting because of a bad back. Shot in the clubs varmint matches for two years with an AR15, a Savage model 12 in .22-250 and a Remington 700 in .223. Just built a 6mm Norma BR on a Remington SA and am in the learning curve for this cartridge.

This forum is just loaded with information and someday I may actually contribute something.

Hi every one. My name is Ben my forum sudo is Grimstod.

So here is a little about me. I am a graphic designer and photographer. Got into rifle shooting after college so most of this is new to me. I grew up shooting 22s and shotguns but never owned a center fire rifle. I guess school sorta made me a perfectionist about things and soon I caught the accuracy bug and have been doing everything I can to find that perfect group of .000 even though I know its sorta theoretically imposable. :-[ I love the forum so far and will def stick around for some time. I have already asked many questions of the rest of you and look forward to learning more and even helping others.

Good afternoon all. Hopefully I can get wisdom from all the experience in the chat room, and maybe add a little myself. I have been reloading for over 30 years and have done a little competitive shooting, as well as carrying and shooting professionally since 1986. I am currently looking for some insight into a specific load for a 300 WSM. I have a small gross of Ramshot Magnum I was able to pilfer for my .300 Win Mag. The power is not normally a "preferred" powder for the short mag, but I will be using it in an 1885 with a28" barrel, and pushing either a 208 grain A-Max or the new 210 grain Accubond Long Range. With the added barrel length and heavier bullet, I am hoping the slow RS Mag will work. I would stick with the 4831sc but I am having a helluva time finding it. Anyone have thoughts on the subject? Zimm.

New to the site. Been reloading for around 25 years. Practice for and competition in bowling pin shoots is what got me started. Varmints, mil surps, and occasional out of state rifle hunts keeps me at it.

Howdy! My name is Steve. I've been lurking and reading a bunch on this site. Lots of great information and knowledge here. I've been shooting forever and handloading for 15 years. I like this site so much that I donated $25...it's strange that it doesn't show up below my name...
Thanks!
Steve

Hello from southeast Florida (Palm Beach County).

This is an impressive site and a wealth of information, and has been a great resource in an attempt to take my reloading and shooting to the next level.

Hello, all. Jim here from behind the iron curtain. Yep, Illinois! (Southern part at least). I'm an AR, C&R, bolt action, and magnum revolver collector/enthusiast. Reload 223, 9mm, 38 special, 357 mag, 44 mag, 25-06, 30-06, 243, and very soon 6mm REM and 300 weatherby as that's my newest rifles. (Gotta reload for weather by to afford to shoot it, lol). :D. Planning a trip to a new hunting spot in Missouri soon since all the farmers around here seem to be going broke and resorting to outfitting now. >:( I'm originally a hillbilly from Flatwoods, KY. Not liking the flatlands so well. Well, that's pretty much me. Guess I'll get to know some of you as time goes on. Feel free to say hi.
