Weighing primers the Ingenuity way

SMDH at the chicken littles. They aren't vibrating in a pile. It's always a friend, someone i read about, a cousin's cousin ....

I use to weigh them by the 5k. The last i did i may have gotten 20 outliers & only one or two were way out.
I now hope luck has them in the sighter row!

I thought of the same thing! Primers are an explosive and should be treated as such. There have been serious injuries (deaths?) with the mishandling of primers. I would strongly recommend that you do not handle them in this way.
I’ve annealed over 1k brass with primers in them - this is probably a little less likely to detonate :)

Surely not live primers..??
They can and will go off and that has been reported here on this forum in the past under various annealing discussions…
ALL annealing machine manufacturers warn against having a live primers in a case when it is subject to annealing temperatures.
AMP absolutely recommends that the cases be de-primed before annealing and not even having fired primers still in the case.

Live as can be - not that I’m recommending it. It does take a lot more than just vibration to set them off In my experience
