I'll probably catch hell for this, just saw the thread today and it was up to 100 post already. Read a few, got tired of the snide comments, even if they may be warranted. It is my opinion the gradual demise of the NRA was their decreasing defense of the Second Amendment. there was a time they would vigorously defend infringement and fight all the way to the Supreme Court. They turned their interest more toward the shooting sports and especially youth training programs. That's all well and good until some group takes your gun away from you or changing the "rules" to no gun ownership until your 35. I sincerely hope the NRA regrows a pair and gets back to fighting and biting back, an organization to be reckoned with by the anti-gun zealots.
