Yes , My whole family were loggers ,starting with my Grandad. When I was of 18 I hitch hiked over to a logging job on a log truck to see if they could use an inexperienced kid. I had no gloves or even a lunch ,they put me right to work. Log trucker gave me half his lunch and a pair of wore out gloves, twenty years latter I had my own logging show.you must live in timber country???
hard work. Timber a big deal here--the old trackbeds criss-cross this country. Still a few old timers who used to skid with draft horses and mule teams.
