VV temp stability coatings?

I know that I have some that was drastically different burn rate wise in that time frame...from 2014-2016. So that's probably about right but they were still working on the formulations. I've been told that bismuth would speed the burn rate up. Not sure, just what I was told.
This is my recent testing of 2019 N150 vs 2015 N150. New formula vs old formula. Huge difference in speed.
I am going to test a 2023 batch of N 150 this Sunday.

If it changed in 2016 it is still temp sensitive. I was very hard and heavy in cf prs back then and I changed to the N series due to cooler burn and better barrel life on my .224 caliber chamberings about that time. While it was temp sensitive it never bothered me as I loaded my temp offsets into my strelok (at the time) and it tracked very well.
Not your question but I have seen some impressive groups and SD on the VV powders. If you run kestrel or strelok and can live with running the temp/velocity offsets you will be happy I believe. Many powders can produce so keep that in mind.
I just did it for low BTU and barrel life. That was back when nobody I knew ran VV powder or .224 heavies in PRS. Turns out I have taken a reasonable life turn toward VV powders. I still run 4350, 4895 and varget but there has been a major shift in my powder supply. If the prices I see on here persist for hodgdons there will be more changes in my cabinet.

Tested the 2023 lot of N150 today. All three used the same charge, primer and brass. Was 5 degrees cooler today. 308 Lapua Palma brass, CCI41 primer, Berger 215 Hybrid bullet.

From left to right 2023, 2019, 2015.
2015 is the older formulation and much slower.
