I've used a lot of Vortex reflex sights and have had great luck with them. I picked up a Crossfire 6 X 18 44mm scope for my .22lr rifle recently and I really like the glass. It doesn't have click adjustments for windage or elevation and I don't like the numbers on the turrets so I'm replacing the scope but will keep it for a backup.

Yes and yes.
They emailed me a shipping label that I placed on the box.
One of my early jobs was working in a box factory. It’s pretty easy to make a with a sheet of cardboard, a pizza cutter, a razor knife, and a straight edge. This sure comes in handy when you need a one off odd size box.

I was thinking about sending my scope in, at max 24x zoom the parallax adjustment blurry on one scope and the other scope has a black spec when I zoom in at 24x.
Anyone else have a parallax clarity issue?
You're missing the point.
The best warranty is really a scope so well designed it almost never fails. It's better than a scope, with a great warranty, that always fails.
And, not all warranties are equal. There's a big difference between a warranty that covers everything, even user fault / abuse and includes bi-dir shipping, and ones that don't. Or, ones where your scope is shipped overseas and you're without it for 1/2 a year.
And, I would note that some warranties are not honored. You can have a scope with a partially unlit reticle and they say it's acceptable as long as > 50% is lit.
No such scope exists.

Another thing is how the optic gets used, a guy shooting benchrest that
the rifle goes from a case to the bench and back is apt to have less issues than
a optic that is on a PRS rifle that gets banged up, pushed against and the turrets rapidly twisted hundreds of times a day. Or a optic on a backpacking hunting rifle.

Yea, I disagree. I've had probably 20 scopes over the past 20 years, everything from Nightforce NXS to Vortex Gen3s .... multiple copies of each. I've definitely had brands / models with zero issues.

Another experience I had with Vortex. I was helping my 14 year old grandson build a 25/06. He was actually doing all of the work while I was watching/instructing him, so it took quite awhile. Time well spent. We were almost finished. He was mounting the scope. We were using Vortex rings. I was recording him with my phone and not watching as close as I should’ve. He used the wrong torx bit and stripped the screw heads. Once again I emailed Vortex and told them what happened, and once again they sent the screws along with hats and other goodies. No charge. I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service. And if you ever get the chance to help a youngster build a rifle it’s a rewarding experience you’ll both remember.

Bad warranty - Sig Sauer. I paid "top dollar" for a Kilo 2000 laser when they came out. Many developed a reputation of trouble. Mine mostly sat in the case with minimal use. Then it flat out stopped lighting up. Sig told me they do NOT repair them. One month over their two-year warranty period and too bad.
Bought a new Vortex laser. Best lifetime warranty in the business and actually, works better than any laser I ever had.

Myself I would rather have my scope repaired than sent/offered an "upgrade" for x dollars, since I have no reason to trust the new one. Please repair the performance issue ( and test) the current scope and return it functioning perfect , that's a warranty.
I guess I should be thankful for those people.
I use their lower end scopes on my deer guns. Illuminated v brite dot 3-9x40. They are cheap, reliable for 6 years now and if I hurt one in the woods Vortex will replace or repair it. Damage is more likely to happen in the field than on the bench. I dont own any of their higher end units. I had to send a venom red dot back numerous times. So I wont buy any of their red dots anymore. Especially when Holosun is making a great pistol red dot.
On another note, Vortex really stepped when Liberty Optics ripped off his customers. They had no obligation to as far as I know.
To me theyre a solid company with a warranty that covers my mess ups.
