SELLING Urbanrifleman Barrel Testimonials

From Mat:

Hi Brad,
I Finn had time to test your prefit barrel. It shoots great! 223 wylde chamber.
This is my cheap plinking rifle, so factory 700 receiver and trigger in a MDT field stock with an Arken 6-24x.
It's my first test shot groups with cheap hornady Vmax and eldm with varget and H335.
Can't wait to see theses groups after fine tuning!
Feel free to post my comments if you wish. I'm on accurate shooter too.
Mat

Here are some pics from my first ever custom 6BR build. 26in 1/8 UR heavy barrel, Kauger CRS action. These are the best groups from my first range session. I think I can make them tighter next time. I am still working on finding the best seating depth for the Berger 105 VLDs. All groups are 5 shots 100yds. If I did 3 shot groups most of these would have been a single hole :). Good times. I'm happy so far.

Man that is a pretty rifle. I think. :)

Very nice!

Yes sometimes factory ammunition is tough to beat. It took lots of load development for me to produce Ammo that shot as well as Norma 168 Factory Match in a friends Sig SSG3000 .308. That stuff was consistent .2s.
Most of the time, however, it is crap to an accurate shooter.

Bradley has been very helpful in my journey to start shooting local f class matches. I ended up buying one of his revolution benchrest stocks along with a shouldered prefit 6bra barrel. I ended up getting a Kauger BR2 action which he recommended and bix and andy trigger. To say this gun is a shooter is an understatement. Between fireforming new brass and initially load testing I have been very happy with the results.

All testing at 200 yards.

Last weekend shot a 799 45x aggregate at 600 yard match over 4 20 shot strings. Top score.

I am going to be ordering another backup barrel from him soon.

Here are the 600 yard targets from last weekend.

Still learning how how to deal with wind and mirage. The gun can shoot just need to work on the shooter now!

Looking forward to learning more and many more rounds with this gun and barrel.

From Jim Hoffman, report on Williamsburg.

"My rifle and a Heavy Gun and 17# Light Gun showing what I was up against.
5 shot groups were Tactical Class and 17# Light Gun Class. 10 shot groups were Heavy Gun (unlimited weight) class. I shot My Light Gun in Heavy Gun Class. All targets shot with UR Drop In Nut $319 Wilson Barrels. I think there is enough here to show what UR Wilson Barrels can do. Wandering shots were because of condition change and My lack of experience.

Thanks Brad :-)) … Jim Hoffman"

Does anyone have a .222 Remington barrel from Bradley? I'd love to know how accurate it is, if you do

"Hello Brad
Hope things are going smooth
I have told you before but wanted to tell you again
I have a few year old 7 twist ISSF 223 barrel from you
It started out as PD getter--did fine--I have played with a Lot of different combos in it but...when you gave me the load for the 80.5 Berger -- my reloading and shooting life changed--I went from well maybe I am getting the hang of reloading after a few years to--WOW I get it now! This barrel with your formula 23.5 Varget .020 off just hammers! It is like the load stays in tune all the time! It shoots like this every single time I drag it out of the safe---The great news is the load holds up to 600 yds like crazy
I screwed around with powder ladder and seat depth but always come right back to your load--it works every time
It has taught me that some loads are just Magic like that--it made my 223 like a 6BR--just stick in the known good load and your life gets easy and your groups stay very small.
The bore has about 2500 rounds --many were hot and heavy PD shooting with no letting up--wrap a wet rag on it and keep pounding--after all of that I scrubbed it to bare metal and now it lives an easy life--it ain't pretty in there--the edge of some of the lands look ragged--it is black the first 6 inches but...with the 80.5 Berger it will go against any rifle out there It has a best of 1.09 group at 600 yds in perfect conditions--I mean it has bore worms too If I had not discovered this load I would say it is just a barrel but I can take it and just WOW my friends--so......Thanks again for a great value--and the advice was worth a Ton--you know what you are doing.

David Kluttz in North Carolina"
