Ugliest Glock Ever ?

Lol. I agree that all Glocks are butt ugly :p

I have a Gen 4 Glock 20 in 10mm Auto. I try not to look at it while shooting so I don't lose my lunch. Lol. Gotta say tho, it is amazingly reliable so it will always be in my inventory :)
Glocks are like fifty shades of ugly. Kind of ugly on one end and that thing on the other. I do agree though, that no matter what, they always go BANG when you pull the trigger. Just wish they fit my hand so I could hit what I aim at. I'll stick with my first love, my Browning Hi-Power:)

I have nothing personal against Glocks as they are a very reliable gun. I just personally prefer a steel gun. I only have 2 1911's, a second year production Springfield Professional and a Nighthawk T3.

I agree. The early Glock gens never fit my hands comfortably either. The new Gen 4 models (think they have Gen 5 now too) come with interchangeable grips that change the rear handle profile to give users the option of getting the feel they want. Pretty cool actually. The Glock beavertail grip attachment I use makes it feel similar to my 1911. Much more comfortable. Still doesn't help the ugly looks tho! :D

Boy toys are made from recycled TUPPERWARE!

Man toys are made from metal parts.

Google the SIG P220R5 10mm Hunter-the PVD'd camo appears to have been designed from someone on crack or meth! FUGLY!

I'll keep all of my 3rd gen S&W's(645/745/4506s/1006s/1076s) & Sig P (210/220s/226s/227/228s/229s) series all metal guns as I can swap slides/bbls/mags & shoot 4 calibers on 1 frame w/ the SIG's.

I agree the full metal frame guns are very nice and I am still a big fan. However, my Glock 20 loaded with 15 rounds of 10mm Auto in the magazine is still lighter than my Kimber 10mm Auto with the magazine completely removed. Much more comfortable to carry. 1911's and a lot of other metal frame handguns will hang up and give you issues if they get too dirty. Glocks can withstand just about anything you throw at them and keep on working. For bear and other predator protection when going out into the wilderness, I feel 10 times safer with the Glock on my side because I know it can get rained on for days, dropped in the mud, fall off a cliff, stepped on, and kicked around, yet it will still function perfectly when I need it during a time of crisis. I doubt any other gun out there could beat the function and reliability of a Glock after rigorous torture tests. Plenty accurate too and tons of aftermarket components available at affordable prices. They are damn ugly, but there's no doubt the Austrians definitely know how to make a firearm that will function reliably in all conditions and situations ;)

All true, and I could not agree more. Butt ugly 'yes', but probably the most reliable handgun on the planet....this is coming from a 50 year fan of the 1911. Own five 1911's, but only one (ugh) Glock. But I just can't resist this:

I agree, it’s very difficult to get a Glock dirty enough that it will have issues. That said I have never had my S&W Model 66 get jammed up either. I must digress though and say I only have 6 rounds (do speed loaders count?) in comparison to your 15..... Bob.

I was never a Glock fan until....... Back in the summer of 2009, just before I retired from the Houston P.D., we had to attend a 4 day in-service school. It was BY FAR the GREATEST tactical training school I have ever attended. It was called "Active Shooter". It was in response to all the shootings going on where an active shooter was on the scene and SWAT was nowhere near the scene. Believe it or not we actually had to shoot the "assailant(s)" with Glock 23s loaded up with "paint" filled wax bullets, sent out at 750f.p.s.! We used Glock 23s in 40S&W. It was the most accurate, easy to handle pistol I ever had the pleasure of shooting! I was so impressed with them I just had to buy one! Ugly, maybe to the eye of some beholders, but to me, it is fantastic! It is not as "pretty" as my Kimber "Custom Shop" Utra CDP II, but it is still awesome!!!
