Just got.mine all put together. Haven't even loaded any rounds yet.
Now we have to have new parts coming.
One question. Will you have to set up the powder measure manually or in your electronic wizardry will it just know what to do?
Adam,
Would you sell just the mechanism without the powder measure itself? I have two powder measures that I like, their operation is very similar to the one you show, and it does not appear that it would be difficult to adapt them to you mechanism.
Thx!
Alex
I don't think I'd sell it without the measure. It would be like offering the V1 without the RCBS trickler, which some people have asked about, you still have to drill and tap some holes and that's just part of the whole product package. It likely possible to adapt any measure, but it takes work (and a lot of 3D printing in my case) and the end result is something unique. The Lee fits well with the objective, to be low cost, run well with a stepper motor, mount well to the A&D scale, easy to assemble without a lot of extra drilling, etc.

Adam,
I understand, and that is fine - I was just wondering. I do want one when these become available.
Thanks for replying.

Yep I've had mine for a couple months now and it performs flawlessly, was wondering myself how durable it will be in the long run?? Time will tell...hope I wasn't to hasty in selling my chargemaster. For now though my favourite part of reloading is throwing powder with the auto Trickler.
Cheers Rushty
Not to worry about durability, I will help you out with any warranty issues. Each o-ring lasts on average a year depending on how smooth your pulley is and how often you use it, and some of the very first run electronics have had some issues but I am replacing as necessary. And quality has gone up a lot as I am making more and more.
So the AutoThrow... I finally got the new prototype pulley and timing belt in and it's perfect. I ran it overnight cycling 28,000 times and it was good as new in the morning.
Just filmed the video, tomorrow afternoon I'll revamp the website and get everything ready, and tomorrow evening it will be up for preorder. It's really going to be a game changer. Cycle times down to 6 seconds when the trickler is working well.
What is this going to cost me?
